In December of 2012, we took yet another cruise to the Caribbean. One of the shore excursions that we selected was to Atlantis in the Bahamas. Here you can see a shot of the entire resort. It's huge and absolutely breathtaking!

We had always seen their signature water slide in pictures, but it was nothing like actually being there taking a look. Since we were there on a particular shore excursion, we were not able to make use of the slide. But there's always next time. Looks like a great place for a family vacation.

Our shore excursion was actually swimming with the dolphins. This was something we had always wanted to do. It was absolutely amazing to be in the water and up-close with these magnificent creatures. Here I am literally holding the dolphin in my hands.
